Work Packages

EACH project goal will be to provide professionals with tools to nourish transversal key competences (critical thinking, social skills and meta-cognitive skills) and digital competences in pre-schools, by implementing – with the support of digital

technologies – participatory educational actions (e.g. based on “Community of Enquiry” approach) able to contribute to a collaborative knowledge-building.

In order to ensure harmonious intervention in the different countries involved, the

awareness about environmental and climate-change challenges will be the frame to ground and integrate all planned educational actions.

The choice lies on the urgent need for a strong commitment towards environmental sustainability and against climate change (UN SDG 2030).

Each partner will contribute to the project objectives according to their specific and long-standing expertise, developed both within locally based and EU-funded projects. Project implementation will involve early childhood practitioners and researchers, who will be involved in 2 training activities and a pilot intervention in ECEC services. The foreseen workflow includes the development of following WPs and concrete results:

WP1

WP1 Project Management’s goal is to manage and verify that the quality assurance and evaluation of the project is an horizontal and internal activity through the lifetime of the project. It will cover relevant aspects, such as quality and key features of deliverables, timeliness of deliverables, expected impact.

WP2

WP2 Building foundations and drawing the route: a conceptual and methodological framework goal is to create a common ground for the partnership by systematising available knowledge (e.g., EU and national reports, white papers, guidelines, scientific literature, etc.) and partners expertise on the topics addressed by the project (R- EACH report) and to build the tools and strategies to be applied in WP3, hence defining the direction for its development (conceptual and methodological guidelines)

WP3 Along the route & suggestions for future travellers: best-practice report will result in a good-practice report build upon a 2-phase experimentation of developed practices and know-how in partner ECEC institutions;

WP4 Travel notes & review criteria: evaluation method and tool will provide an innovative evaluation method and unique online tool to be applied to the educational methodological framework;

WP5 Sharing results: educational online platform focuses on dissemination and an Interactive educational platform.
